Dark money group pushing gas stove crackdown has significant financial stake in green energy.
Matusiak, the CEO of Rewiring America, is a co-founder and managing partner of Purpose Venture Group, a climate-focused consulting firm. The company primarily advises and supports non-profit organizations that are dedicated to addressing environmental and climate change issues.
Purpose Venture Group played a key role in developing Rewiring America into a prominent advocate and national expert on electrification, securing over $20 million in funding commitments to date. The firm has also provided consulting services to Arcadia Power, a company where Laskey serves on the board.
Additionally, Purpose Venture Group has offered consulting support to solar company Posigen and energy efficiency company Dvele, which recently announced $15 million in seed funding. Matusiak serves as an advisor to Dvele.
Dvele is focused on creating highly efficient, self-sustaining, and healthy homes that are at the forefront of the energy transition towards decentralized power generation and storage capabilities, as stated on the company’s website.
The company emphasizes that the full electrification of Delve homes not only enhances energy efficiency but also contributes to improved health and safety standards. By eliminating natural gas combustion within the homes, Devel ensures there is no risk of carbon monoxide exposure. Additionally, using an induction cooktop instead of a gas stove helps reduce harmful ultrafine particulates and gases.

He also founded Makani Power, a wind energy company that was acquired by Google in 2013. Griffith, like Laskey, has been an advocate for policies that could potentially benefit his business ventures through Rewiring America.
